Can reflexology help improve your health?
Reflexology is a science of fabricated rubbish, with no healthy return. Nevertheless, it is very popular, widely used and offers health benefits. Most scientific evidence suggests that this is not feasible. Since there is no registration or certification of reflex workers, there is no limit to their claims. The idea behind reflexology is that all floating body organ systems in your body can be mapped to any area or place of your feet. For example, the vertical body maps to the area under the thumb, and the lung maps to the area under the foot. Each mechanism has its own area on its feet. This concept holds that if one of these body organ systems suffers from disease, the reflexologist can promote the area around the feet, so as to easily diagnose the disease. I dare to assert that this idea will further rub or revitalize these areas of the foot, thus contributing to the treatment of diseases of specific organ systems. People simply do not admit that it was not invented by someone. The specific body organ system was originally mapped to these parts of the foot. There is no clear way to link these body organ systems with the hair area physiologically or structurally. No path or condition can be considered as a path connecting everyone.
All vowel analysis and systematic reports of the study indicate that reflexotherapy has no effect on health. Reflexology is useless. Stimulating the part of the foot connected to the specific organ system will not lead to any change or improvement of the body organ system. Generally speaking, the scientific research on reflexology is generally insufficient, there is not enough control group, and the participants are not blind. Many research projects seem to really prove that “reflexology” can help and induce biological differences. Sales reflexologists talk about these differences and use them as evidence that reflexology can help. However, once reviewing these scientific studies, the authors usually call it ordinary foot massage, that is, reflexive massage, but this is not the case. Reflex therapy is to stimulate specific areas through massage and help specific body organ systems. A complete foot massage is different. Almost everyone likes a good foot massage. Most of us who receive a good foot massage will become more calm and the pressure will be much less. This may lead to excessive physiological compensation. For example, many studies have shown that “reflexotherapy” can reduce blood pressure, but it is just a massage of the feet, making people calmer. Other studies have shown that foot massage has a good response to nausea and other symptoms of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, but this is because of the comforting effect of foot massage, not because the feet of the body system with malignant tumors are activated.
